super glued and tied the zipper at the top and bottom.
I used them to make cheap fork boots for my 2004 Harley XL. cut one side, pulled on, super taped and zipped up top and bottom and tucked the tie in the 'folds' that have been ridden for over 9,000 miles and show no signs of wear or even fading (and they're in the sun 24th / 7) I'd say I've used/abused them way worse than the shock application they're made for and they've held up great.
