Love it! good for me

I purchased this Pet Treat Pouch not only for training my eight year old rescue fur baby; but, my brother moved back in town with his 15 year old dog that he is constantly having me babysit. Because the 8 yr. old and the 15 yr. old have two different energy levels, much of the time is spent carrying the older dog, while my dog walks. Therefore, I wanted something to carry all of my stuff . keys, treats, poop bags, another leash, sunglasses, etc. . and be predominantly hands free. I use both the belt and strap simultaneously (it came with both). I wear the strap across my body, and the belt around my waist to keep the bag positioned steadily. You see, when I rescued my dog, she had been badly abused and was deeply afraid of everything including her own shadow. So when I reach down to her, if the bag moves it scares her. She is also afraid of her retractable leash. I have dropped it a few times by accident while attending to both dogs. Anyway, I now loop her retractable leash onto the belt that came with the bag. And then I purchased a sling to wear across my chest to carry the blind, incontinent, older dog. Now everyone is comfortable and happy. Two added bonuses are the reflective straps which will help when I walk in the evening during winter months as it gets dark here early … and the drawstring on the pouch to keep everything in place. I also have added a few carabiners to add things I carry in the winter time such as a flashlight and one to hook my gloves. Some people have asked me why I even take the older dog out if I am carrying her most of the time; but, she is getting fresh air, attention, and some exercise. This pouch has been a blessing for me.

Pros
  • Food Storage
Cons
  • The treats stored in the pouch can attract unwanted pests such as ants and flies
