Review on Accusize Industrial Tools Standard M42 8% Cobalt Tialn Roughing End Mill, 3/4''x3/4''x1-5/8'' Flute Length, 1102-0034 by Knate Scarpelli

I was trimming the bottom of a lathe tool holder and this end mill smoked. I honestly wasn't expecting that given the 8% cobalt content, this is a roughing end mill and I used coolant with .010-.020" passes on "Chinese" tool steel. No, I saw a spark or two and that was it. Done with a regular HSS end mill - weird - I'll use carbide next time. Appears to be of good quality, but you're better off sticking with hot-rolled steel or aluminum only.
