I ordered this mount to turn my 12.9" iPad Pro into a desktop monitor. I use my iPad for my work and personal tasks instead of my computer. With this mount Can I use the keyboard at my desk like a regular desktop or laptop. The fact that the mount has an "apple" look is the "icing on the cake". It took a few minutes to assemble (I read always following the instructions on the box) with no surprises. Everything you need is included in the kit. The metal looks and feels solid (I've had mine for months now without the slightest hint of a problem). The plastic and rubber materials that make up the grip mechanism are suitable as these elements actually touch the mounted device.You do not want metal to scratch the surface of your device as you could scratch or damage your device.
