When I first saw these leggings I went for the big ones, just in case . However, I looked at the sizing guide and got the medium exactly as the guide said and I'm so glad I did. I was a bit hesitant when I first opened the package and the leggings looked very small. In fact, I made a comment that one of my friends should give me some Pam so I can oil my legs to get them dressed. However, once I started putting them on, I found that they are very comfortable, stretchy and pack well. The inside is also very soft and the leggings don't feel particularly thick. They are very warm and I can't wait to take them on my hikes this fall and winter.
