I wanted a good handheld GPS for light hiking. After seeing many reviews from Garmin and Magellan I decided to give the Explorist 210 a try. I read a few reviews here on the Revain site about how difficult it was to upload maps using the MapSend software, but I had no problem. We recently visited Hawaii and I was able to download maps of the Big Island and Kauai as separate detailed maps. I have used the suction cup in two rental cars for traffic information. The detailing was excellent and while not quite accurate, it was very close. Pretty neat about two hundred bucks (with Mapsend)!
