My oven burners are 16 inches. This pan is advertised as 18 inches. With that in mind, it should fit and line up nicely on my plate. However, two handles were cast in this pan; one at each end. These handles prevent the pan from detaching from the burners at the ends and therefore cause the pan to not sit flat on the stove. The pens are so unnecessary and it's a shame they didn't think of their inconveniences. And they don't have to say it's 18 inches since the grips subtract from that. Plus, in what I can only describe as vanity or over-marketing, they've put their trademark on the surface of the pan, making me not only tiresomely get used to my stovetop, but have to scrape food between the letters.
