Weak, difficult to install, bad solution

Bought to block the stairs to the basement. So thin, uncomfortable and difficult to install! I've been trying to get it working on 2 different doors in the last 2 weeks. The whole thing was an epic failure. As a result, ridiculous details - poles, wall protection and flimsy mesh - were thrown in the trash. Expensive mistake to buy this thing.
