I have read reports on other sites of this particular quick connector failing, ripping off the engine's fuel rail and burning the car down. I didn't take it too seriously, I mean it's an accident right? NOT CORRECT! I was stranded and needed it, this part was the only one available for next day delivery. This part failed after 30 minutes of driving. The plastic insert absorbs some of the engine heat, softens, and the fitting rips right off the fuel rail, spraying gas everywhere. When cold the plastic will crack giving a warm fluffy feel that it is secure. It is not. I cannot stress enough that this product is 100% dangerous and should not be sold.
