Easy to use, won't cause migraines

From potty training to puppy stall training, from marrying a mechanic with greasy boots to the most avid gardener, I LOVE this shampoo. I use it on ALL soft media - car upholstery, furniture and (of course) carpets and rugs. I've found that as a stain remover, it works best if you pretreat the area with a concentrate spray (which also means you don't need as much shampoo for the entire area if you're using a full shampoo system). Also, it's best to treat stains with your own fingers, followed by a terry towel. I had problems with my softest nylon brushes tearing up the sofa and carpet. Using my fingers is softer on the fabric and seems to provide better foam saturation. Doesn't do well with grease stains, but does dirt, oil, grass and blood (our dog had a tumor tear!) Regarding urine: I've read reviews that say it's great, but I believe in vinegar and ALWAYS treat urine with it before vinegar and rinse with water. I can try avoiding the vinegar treatment and update my findings here. UPDATE: I tried this on a fresh urine stain with no vinegar pre-treatment. Near the carpet, the smell of urine is still very noticeable, so I pretreat with vinegar and start cleaning again. Odor: I have terrible migraines and have to be careful with cleaning products as most of them give me migraines. The smell of this shampoo is light enough and dissipates quickly enough that I've never had a migraine from it, even indoors in winter, or a residual smell after cleaning my car. It's very comfortable and smells great. Ease of Use: For me, one of the main benefits of this shampoo is that I can let it dry and then vacuum it up instead of soaking what I'm cleaning with water to rinse. It dries quickly and I didn't damage my vacuum by running it over a still damp area to help the drying process. I still rent an industrial steam cleaner for deep cleaning, but this helps with spot cleaning and makes shampooing easier. (and even pre-treat before steam cleaning) and do a deep clean annually instead of quarterly. Hooray!
