Three different monitors do not work.

The video from this unit did not compare to three different brands of new 3 year old monitors I tried. What is good. However, the menu simply didn't appear until it was turned off. I was able to set up the hotkeys as instructed and then use the front panel buttons. So I have to use it anyway and I don't use it to select the menu type on the screen. Not required for 8 computers. If it was more than 8 then that would be a show stop. It would be a lot of clinging, unhooking, re-clinging on eight sets of cables, not worth going back and starting over. Getting a 20 year old screen to work in VGA mode seems like a no-brainer, but mine definitely won't talk to it. Maybe there's some kind of update to play around with all day? Not worth the effort as I don't use it to select computers via an on-screen menu with buttons in front of me. Otherwise it's a good device and I like the easy button press to switch computers. They would be in front, but 8 manual buttons, 8+ menu mode. I have a model 4 computer that has been running for years, from the same company. They had great customer service when I needed help with this. I'm sure they will help with that, but in this case it's just not worth the effort.
