Review on 12-Inch Masonry Reciprocating Saw Blade, 2 TPI Tungsten Carbide Teeth Tipped Brick Cutting Recip Saw Blade, Demolition Saw Blade For Cutting Red Brick, Light Brick, Fiber Cement, Aerated Concrete, Porous Concrete, Cinder Block by Albert Gaines

Flimsy. look elsewhere

I purchased two blades after reading about them (sales pitch) thinking they would be very useful during my project. I planned on cutting a doorway through my home's interior brick wall.Easy enough with assorted tools and these blades in my old faithful saw.NOOOPEThe blade was unable to hold a straight cut, blade flexed and bent through the brick, then broke at the quick change point of my saw. Th front wall cut does not match the flip side as the blade was uncontrollable no matter how I twisted or pressed.I have the worst "wobble cut" down both sides.Image #1 of front #2 rear #3 Front open.*Guess who has to spend time with his angle grinder. It will still turn out nice, just a bit more effort.Thank youRuss / Oregon

Pros
  • Reciprocating Saw Blades
Cons
  • The tungsten carbide teeth may wear out quickly with prolonged use
