**SECOND HALF PROCESSING - too long** I ordered this on Wednesday and received it earlier than expected (today!). It was easy enough to put together and the perfect size for my 6 foot guy! If he says something clever now, he'll go in the kennel! My 9 month old German Shepherd should love it too. **EDIT - 5 DAYS AFTER THE CAGE RELEASED** I still think it's a well made cage. I have SEVERAL criticisms in this regard. Instead of the typical "oh my dog chewed it up" I have "MY DOG LITERALLY GO DIRT IN THIS STUFF" (poor pup and poor me) and to be honest it's the PVC holding the bottom perimeter , there is VERY HARD to cleanse liquid diarrhea. The material on the bottom is truly waterproof; PVC pipes on the bottom move poorly and corners are impossible. So if there is liquid feces under the pipe, you need to be creative. I soaked the item in Natures Miracle and there is still a strong poop smell in the drawer but I don't know where it came from 😢. If the waterproof material also covered the pipes below, maybe (hopefully) this wouldn't be an issue. By the way, the material of the walls is not that waterproof. The top zip is a great feature - the friend lifted the dog out vertically and there was no mess on the surrounding carpet because we didn't have to go through it from the front like a normal cage. Another note is the vent windows - they make for a nice thick screen (I'm sure I can handle dogs trying to scratch and/or chew). I personally think they might be too thick as they seem to insulate the heat inside. The other day I slipped my hand into the top to pet my dog and noticed how warm it was inside (due to her panting and the windows maybe not ventilating enough). My solution is to place our fan in front of the drawer when I go to work so there is some airflow.
