My Cavalier Spaniel could have died of asphyxiation

I have a tiny 13 pound dog who prefers to sleep in our bed but needs to be in his cage at times. As I followed him, he managed to break the entire side netting "window" at the seam. He pulled his head out but got stuck on his neck while standing. If he hadn't been able to stand that long, he would surely have been strangled. I had to cut out the rest of the "window" to reveal it (Fig. 3). It could be deadly.

Travel friendly: boxes, houses and pens

I love this item. It is light and folds well. I bought it for traveling and it's perfect. However, if you have a restless dog or an escape artist, you probably need something more permanent. My dog is cage trained and easy to learn, but she scratched the front flap a little and disheveled it a bit. It closes with a zipper that can be secured with a plastic clip, which is handy but a determined dog can break it. If you're looking for something lightweight, this is a great option at a great…

Good cage and quality for the price

When we got our new puppy we bought a lot of stuff. One of our top priorities was a softbox and we had previously purchased the exact same one from a reputable brand. This cost us a lot more money and really seemed to be of the same quality as this one. The fabric and mesh appear to be of good quality even after our pup tried to tear and chew them. The only thing that I think could really improve things would be if it had some sort of strap or handles to hold on to when carrying it. Those that…

Plenty of space for two

Got a 42 inch screen today. There were different posts/opinions about the size needed for dogs so I wanted to post with photos. I get this as a camping kennel with my 2 dogs as places to sleep for both of them at night (they won't be in it outside of the night and I'm not trying to use it as a playpen). I was also hoping for something that would fit in the lobby of my tent (which at the end of my REI Basecamp4 barely fits). Each of my dogs weighs around 43 pounds but varies greatly in size…

Great as long as liquid diarrhea doesn't come into play

**SECOND HALF PROCESSING - too long** I ordered this on Wednesday and received it earlier than expected (today!). It was easy enough to put together and the perfect size for my 6 foot guy! If he says something clever now, he'll go in the kennel! My 9 month old German Shepherd should love it too. **EDIT - 5 DAYS AFTER THE CAGE RELEASED** I still think it's a well made cage. I have SEVERAL criticisms in this regard. Instead of the typical "oh my dog chewed it up" I have "MY DOG LITERALLY GO DIRT…
