Contrary to all the bad reviews about no sticking or difficult installation: 1. There are plenty of videos on how to properly install rim tape. It's like putting on a tire. The only thing to worry about is that the valve stem bore is aligned.2. It's not a band; that's a rim tape. The rim tape is not coated with adhesive because the elasticity of the tape means it stays in place with friction and pressure. It will never move unless you re-tighten the strip during installation. Excellent elasticity and rebound. Very easy to install. No pre-tensioning required. Just use an old valve stem with rubber so the strip doesn't line up with the valve stem hole. Use the tire levers to push the rest of the way.
