I got this for my new dog so he could explore the yard without me working about him escaping. For a time, it worked. Was the perfect length and the handle felt good. Gave him lots of freedom to sniff the trees and stare at people on the street. Only bad thing, he's a power chewer and one day, while I was cleaning up after him and didn't pay attention to him, he decided to bite through it in less than 5 minutes. Completely my fault thinking I could trust him for a few minutes. Lesson learned. lol.So if you're dog is a chewer, might want to pay attention to them. Otherwise, it's a great leash.
