Be aware of audio delays when using this unit with most AV receivers.

Be aware of audio delays when using this unit with most AV receivers. Most receivers use digital signal processing that adds audio delay and doesn't sync with any Sonos speakers you may have. Oddly, Sonos doesn't offer any settings for this, so there's no way to fix this unless you use the analogue output and set the receiver to transmit audio directly. This results in a thin, tinny sound since you can't use EQ settings. There are tons of complaints about this on the Sonos forums, but there doesn't seem to be any movement to add a customization. For a company that generally has great software, this is very surprising. Condescending comments from "experts" on the forum suggest replacing the receiver with an expensive analog music amplifier. Or buy extra expensive components to make crazy loops and plug them back into Connect to feed the rest of the system and maybe fix the problem. That is nonsense. Connect bills to connect Sonos to existing audio equipment. And it's expensive. None of this gimmick is needed when a software tweak can be added to make it work seamlessly with any amp. Connect also breaks up a lot more often than Sonos speakers, especially when using Tidal or Spotify. SiriusXM and TuneIn rarely crash. I have contacted Sonos support regarding this issue to no avail. They're just not interested in endorsing this product. Since the Connect is only useful to me when my other Sonos speakers aren't working (and when it doesn't cut out the audio), it gets 2 stars. If Sonos takes a step forward and adds a delay adjustment, the view will adjust.
