This is the exact same wire you would buy at a hardware/welding store. Original Lincoln wire with more wire. To replace it, don't pull on the remaining wire in the hose and throw it away, just pull an inch from the gun tip and thread the new wire through the hose. That way the new wire will push the remaining wire into the tube so you can make an extra weld instead of throwing away the 6 or so feet of wire. For HD Lincoln welders this inner shield wire is the way to go, the cheaper ones on the market will give you the worst weld and so many headaches, take this wire and get the job done right. Definitely the only quality wire for HD Licoln welding machines. Very convenient as you don't have to go to the store to buy it.
