I searched the market for an NVMe SSD and saw it for $169.99 for the 1TB version with 3200/3000 read/write. The Samsung 970 Evo 1TB costs around $250 and has similar advertised speeds. It seemed too good to pass, so I jumped on it. Instead I have a drive running at around 2000 reads/1600 writes. The write speed drops to around 1000 MB/s during longer loads. While it's by no means terrible, it's not the advertised speeds or even close. The Samsung 970 Evo claims a read speed of 3400MB/s, which is very close to the real world. However, for this price it is very good and I can't complain.
