Review on Hopkins 40157 Endurance Wheel Wiring by Chris Quinto

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inserts between truck wiring harness and rear tow harness for a seamless installation.

First off, Revane says it doesn't fit my 1999 Ford F350. Yes, that's right. Secondly, the installation is easy, apart from the holes in the back of the truck. Most people install it in front of the left rear wheel. The tourniquet won't fit through the hole, and I don't recommend making the whole thing any bigger. On the Ford, the end of the outlet is visible through the frame. Use some dielectric grease on the bushing. Please note that there is an O-ring for fork waterproofing. Be careful when putting the seat belt on the wheel arch. Pulling too hard can damage something. just keep rattling and swaying and he'll come out the other side. The wire harness went to the bare wires about 2 inches from the outlet. I didn't like it so I put a small piece of split loom on top and sealed it with electronic tape. As stated in the description, the wiring harness is at a 90° angle. off the fork and also "goes" out of the fork for about 4 or 5 hours so the stress is at its lowest. There is an optional ground wire lug (white wire, RV style) for grounding to the frame. There is a power plug and power plug at the rear end.
