Our original power converter lasted less than two years in our new RV (it was made by a different company). We read a lot about this brand and the rave reviews were true. I installed this new converter with no problems. Simply route all wiring from the old unit and install to this new unit in the same manner. It works great. We have opted for a more powerful converter. This new 80A block (replaces the old 65A block). This device also comes with a small hand controller and monitor. You'll probably never need manual adjustments, but the blinking of the monitor (slow or fast blinking depending on the load) will convince you how much work the device has to put in. We have a very large RV and this new unit works great. Lots of power and no horror like other brands.
