I bought 2 of these thinking they were the same size as one they are replacing. These are much bigger at 2 gallons. Now I love the extra size because the beverages still always disappear. The only criticisms are the lid is flimsy feeling and was actually stuck on one when I received it. I thought I was going to break the jar trying to remove it, but it ended ok.They seem durable and have traveled well, if not awkwardly. They are flattened on the sides and not round like a mason jar so they pack just a little more efficiently. They fit on the round metal stands that came with the previous type if I put a small kitchen towel folded underneath.I have disassembled them each time to make cleaning easier and I reattach the silicone gasket each time. I store the valve, chalk and label inside until the next time.
