The description of this item is incorrect. I ordered it because it was the right size for my dog and the back seat of my car. Decided to give it a try and was happy! This chair is amazing. The "sheepskin" fabric is very thick and soft, and the walls unfold and are very durable. I have it on my hump in the back seat, strapped over the headrest and buckled into my seat belt - perfect for my 18 pound poodle/chi/terrier mix. I have 4 dogs and when they go to get their toenails trimmed they all get in the car together. 3 in the back seat so I needed room for the seat hump. That's great. In short, if you have a small dog, you can still use this by adding an extra pillow to elevate it.
