I am almost 70 years old, weigh about 190 pounds, bike 20 miles almost every day and this saddle is very comfortable. The only downside was that the 120mm bolt connecting the two seat cushions broke about every 6 months so I learned how to replace the bolt but it's a hassle and not cheap. Now that I'm running out of spare bolts, I'm ready to buy the upgraded Pro Hub X2 saddle which (owner Hobson Associates told me) has a slightly thicker and stronger bolt (J&B part number 50388 rather than stock). alt #50382) to solve the "breakage" problem that other customers were having as well. I know from experience that this new bolt will not fit the old seats, so I need a new saddle. The problem is, how can I find out (before buying) if a new saddle has an improved bolt or is carried over from previous stock? The supplier I asked had no idea. It would be nice if Hobson Associates could point this out to their sellers.
