It's better to throw leaves and pine needles out of the ditch with a spatula than to waste money. It's too cheap and sometimes too flexible. It actually seems to make a big mess. My neighbor watched me for about 45 minutes, then he came in with a garage vacuum with an extra 20-foot hose, and I vacuumed and cleared the gutter as fast as I could move the ladder. No fuss, no manure cleaning around the house. It was amazing, I didn't think about it. Maybe because I never thought of just buying an extra 10ft hose for my vacuum!
