Appears to be the same quality as the original as the rotor was deformed right out of the box. It was bad enough that it scratched the pads. brand new and checked with straight edge. it was as flat as I could see with the naked eye. It turned out that the rear wheel was not machined very well and did not have a flat and real mounting surface. After tightening the bolts, the surface was so irregular that the rotor bowed down as it was tightened. Obviously the new rotor didn't solve my problem because it had nothing to do with it at all. After disassembly, reassembly and using bolted Loctite, disassembling to return wasn't worth it. The rotor looks the same as the factory rotor, although no x-ray or metallurgical analysis has been done I think they are the same
