This product looks better than other popular brand anchors. The overall aluminum and metal construction is good. The D ring is thick and strong. Everything seems to take a long time. The D-ring is spring loaded and can open and protrude over the edge of the bed or tuck away when not in use. What sucks is how much play the ring has when opening and how weak the locking mechanism is. If you barely move the D-ring, it instantly unlocks and bounces back under the bed. This isn't a problem if your tie is already secured under load, but it will be very frustrating if you're trying to fasten the tie when you've got your hands full. There are some advantages over other brands, such as B. All-metal construction, thicker retaining plate. , the D-ring is thicker, but there are also disadvantages. The retractable locking mechanism sucks, the open D-ring has more play, and they're currently more expensive. In my opinion, this is a pretty close shot. Sensitive retraction hasn't been a major issue yet, so I would still choose Tigeracing over any other brand. I will update if anything changes.
