1. Screw cap with cheap metal hex key. I peel off each of them by putting them on. I got them pretty tight with that. I hope I don't have to remove them anytime soon. I had to add a washer for the hex bolt on top because the shank was a bit long. It was easy to fix. So overall these wheels are great. Yes they are plastic but they were the same ones that were on my old Mac tool my stepdad gave me. I used it tonight. The ride was smoother than the original Mac Tools wheels. I filled the bearings with red high performance grease as there was almost no red grease in the new wheel bearings. Again easy to fix. If you use a creeper, you have lube in the garage. Also, I found out why my stepdad removed the wheels in the middle. You pinch the lower part of your biceps when you move. I will remove the middle wheels. These wheels are a 100% safe purchase. Oh, and they were cheaper $$$ than any other online place I could find. If anything changes I will update my review.
