This juicer is advertised with a powerful motor. That's true, but here's the problem. When we first used this juicer the fuse blew within 5 seconds so we unplugged it and used a different outlet. This fuse blew in seconds. I used a third outlet and the juicer worked as advertised. Apparently some fuses are trickier than others. However, this should not happen as the blown fuses can hold all of our other kitchen appliances. We will replace the first two fuse boxes with a different brand and let you know if that fixes the problem. The juicing device with 2 interchangeable spiral cones moving in two different directions works well to extract the maximum amount of juice. Each cone snaps into place, but not easily. We need to improve the locking mechanism. Because the cones are made of plastic, they can break if handled improperly. Squeezing the juice works with both large Persian limes and small limes. We have three citrus trees in our garden with fruit ripening at the same time, and we're grateful that this device really speeds up what was once a tedious press, press, press. Cleaning is easy. We wash everything except the motor component on the top shelf of our dishwasher. We always use a gentle, water-saving cycle. As a bonus, the device is compact and lightweight; so that we can store it easily. Only time will tell if this unit (and our fuse boxes!) can withstand heavy seasonal use.
