Best feature might be the pre-applied thread sealant, the flexible connection didn't change my experience enough with $
I only used solid nipples before trying this one. Unlike those cheap ones, this one gives you a few degrees of tilt and also comes with thread sealant pre-applied. I always keep teflon tape on hand for all plumbing projects, but if you don't, this might be the way to go. In my experience, a few degrees of flex was pretty much negligible. The air hose will still pull on the tool if you don't give yourself slack.
