These bells are by far the best I have ever bought. We brought our 7 week old puppy home on Sunday and this Thursday she is fully trained. (no accidents for 2 days). Lily Belle loves these bells. If she wants to get out, she will run across the room and crash into them. My husband thought I was wasting my money if I bought these but after 2 days he saw her ring the bells and let her out and she went about her business. Either she's the smartest pup ever born or they're the best trainers. She'll do her thing and then come back. Sometimes she realizes she's not done yet and rings the bell again. If I let go of her again, of course she will poop and then come back as proud as possible. I wanted to replace my carpet but thought it best to wait until we got it. Now I don't have to wait anymore. I've read all those puppy training books and nobody mentions those bells. They should all join the group as their methods are outdated and too strenuous to help a pup succeed in a short period of time. The old way is frustrating for both the owner and the pup. This method is very simple. When I read that it was 100% successful I thought it certainly needed a re-evaluation, but I admit I was wrong. She has no food or water yet. 19:00 My breeder told me to fetch food and water in the evening. That was great advice because she can get through the night without a potty break once we put her to bed. But Lily Belle, who was so smart, realized that if she rang the bell to go outside at night, she could eat snow. So she went about her business, and then she wanted to fill up with snow. We stopped that after the first day. She's doing great. If she went to sleep after 5:30 now, I would have been a happy backpacker. My husband and I have had a puppy for the third time (in 35 years of marriage). We lost our last pet in October and have been wary of a new puppy as it is akin to having a baby back home. For the first time in potty training, there was no disappointment. I can't thank you enough for this gift to Lily Belle and us.
