Wanted some extra padding to protect our tiles from accidental dumbbell drops. These tiles offer some protection but would probably not be sufficient to prevent damage with anything over 30lbs dropped from 3 feet or higher. That said, they look good on the floor, were fairly easy to assemble add a notable 'completeness' to our small gym space.

- The foam material may retain moisture, making it an ideal breeding ground for mold and mildew.
