Drilled holes, routed wires, greased ends, connected to shifter and controller, works as intended with my 7-pin trailer connector. Rubber or vinyl cover, not sure what it was made from, seems a little tatty, will hopefully give years of use, and as install location is not exposed to real weather, it is about 6 inches from my auxiliary battery. , so don't expect it to ever get water in it. The base was plastic so don't over tighten, don't pull on the wires and you'll be fine. Rice was right, I don't have many spares for other projects, this project called for this type of resettable fuse, so my modest budget allowed me to use this and I have no regrets. Your wires hold the bottom half of the cover then it just snaps in place and pushes against the ends of the studs and stays in place and hopefully never needs to be checked or serviced again as it is lubricated.
