These lights are bright, colorful and compact. The wire that connects the LED's is a bit stiff so draping it over branches of a tree isn't quite as easy as some traditional light strands.One reviewer mentioned using something to wrap the strand around for storage. I cannot agree more. I used a piece of scrap PVC pipe and a rubber band to wrap the strand. Otherwise this strand would be a nightmare to unravel in the future. I suggest 2 inch PVC since the remote fits neatly inside.The remote is a big disappointment. I could have it right next to the receiver and nothing happens after multiple button pushes. Sometimes it works but mostly not. Lots of colors to choose from but no way to customize a color combination. What is pre-programmed is meh. The patterns are fun but again, I'd like to specify the colors in a set pattern.Only worked a few hours and failed. POS!
