I have conflicting views about the headphones, since they are not terrible and are of great quality (even if I am not a music enthusiast), but they are also too small for my ears. They gave them to me as a present for my birthday, and the software and connection went off without a hitch. The sound quality is satisfactory, and the program also has a noise-reduction and ambient-sound-control toggle, both of which come in handy when you want to listen to music but still keep an ear on the world around you. For my taste, it would be better without the equalization and its several predefined settings. The phone won't load its software unless the case is open or headphones are plugged in. Everything in the package and my old Sony headphones, even the ear pads, have been tried, but the headphones still keep falling out, making it impossible to wear them while walking. Took me half a day of using Xiaomi chargers before I realized they were not working. From what I've gathered online, this is par for the course with these devices, and they charge up beautifully when plugged into the USB port of a desktop or laptop computer.
