Review on Powerful And Portable: SuperHandy Cordless Air Compressor With 135 PSI And Digital Pressure Gauge by Jason Page

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not a fan. best in my review

I've got a pretty standard homeowner-grade 20-gallon 1.5 HP air compressor that I use for larger jobs, a 6-gallon pancake compressor, and now this. And the thing is: I'm not sure who this was built for.The compressor itself is reasonably quiet, and the motor doesn't seem to be especially efficient or slow to get up to pressure. But the battery life is horrendous. The included batteries are the same generic knockoffs I've seen in a lot of the no-name tools floating around Revain, where you get a flimsy charger that slowly charges the low-capacity batteries. In this case, I guess it would be okay for using a framing nail gun, and maybe an air rachet in low use, but definitely overkill for tires, and not nearly enough capacity (in air or battery) for pneumatic sanders, drills, or much else. For what it costs, I don't know why anyone would buy it.

Pros
  • The high-quality construction of this compressor ensures that it will last for many years to come, even under heavy use
Cons
  • Can be costly to replace the battery
