Really a great little system for retro gamers

This is a GREAT little retro gaming system. There's really nothing I don't like about it, other than that it doesn't have an HDMI output (it has a spot where the designers wanted it to be, but that port is blocked). But it does have a composite output to match almost any TV, and as the quality of those old systems is a long way from HD, the composite resolution really suits this application. So, here are a few things/features that I find remarkable: - Has a basic "block" with a screen, this block is rechargeable (can be taken in the car etc.) or powered by a standard cell phone Powered USB Charger - Has two full-featured wireless controllers. the buttons required to operate both systems, both of which are rechargeable and can be replaced with any AA battery. Includes a dozen systems AND virtually every game designed for each system. everything from the old NES ("Famicom") to NeoGeo and everything in between. These aren't cheap fakes, these are real original games - it has saves, which is incredibly useful. If you're playing a long RPG, you can save your game and come back to it later like someone who played those retro games on multiple devices. This game has found a good home in my playroom and is something that's tiny, looks really cool retro, and most importantly, it actually WORKS and doesn't require a bunch of stuff to download or set up offline. just turn it on and off you go. If you have an older gamer in your family I literally can't think of a funnier gift at any price. I am delighted with mine. So yes - this one gets a strong 5 stars.
