Ok, this is my second juicer. And the first of these is a different brand juicer that really impressed me. I use juicers to make celery juice (per Medical Medium's recommendations). What I love about this juicer: > Sleek design > I feel like I have more juice from my celery, or a higher yield as they say. > Comes with a "deflector" to keep the foam from splashing out with the juice. and it actually works pretty well (it's a rectangular piece of plastic that fits into the corner of the juice container, with little arches cut into the bottom of the rectangle that let the juice through). What I don't like: > There is no brush to clean the juicer parts after use. I assumed they all did. > The power button was a bit finicky. Press once, power on normally. Switched off. Then I pressed the power button again - nothing happened. Pressed again - nothing. I pressed again - the light on the power button blinked, but it caught fire. Didn't blink the first time.> The juicing process itself seems overly complicated for a juicer. or that it's a bit of a struggle. If he struggles with celery, how can he handle apples or something? > And, perhaps worst of all, as someone trying to cure a chronic illness by following the Medical Medium's recommendations, I love knowing how close I've come to meeting those recommendations, because I can only imagine that if I either meet or exceed these recommendations I will get a noticeable benefit (assuming celery juice actually helps me). In other words, if 64 ounces of celery juice is recommended, I want to know when I made 64 ounces of celery juice! Or 32 ounces or whatever.! The juice container has NO measurement markings except 1 which is at the top and isn't even in ounces. This could be the greatest failure of any company ever.
