The problem with all these Velcro products is that there has to be a perfect balance between the strength of the Velcro material and the adhesive backing. The adhesion of the velcro cannot be stronger than the adhesive that holds each side of the tape to the surfaces you want to connect. If they're being held with too much force then if you try to pull them apart (which is the whole idea of this H&L technology - you can attach and detach them and then repeat this many times - but if the H&L hold is stronger than the adhesive fixation attaching it to the object then it's useless I have a few H&L even branded velcro where the adhesive wasn't strong enough and trying to pull the H&L piece apart ripped the tape off would rather than separate the H & L. This product does its job perfectly - the adhesive is very strong and it doesn't wear off Perfect for our purposes.
