Wow, that's an excellent quality little strainer. I was surprised at how good the fit and finish are. The overall width of the colander (including handles) is 9 inches and the inner diameter of the bowl is 6.25 inches. The overall height including the ring base is 3.5 inches. I stamped "Made in China" on the bottom of the bottom ring, out of sight. The construction looks very solid, and the sieve has already been washed several times in the dishwasher, which has not significantly affected the aesthetics. Perfect for leaving berries or cherry tomatoes on the kitchen counter. It looks and is better built than a regular berry strainer. I would definitely buy it again.
