**Update** Rating changed to 4 stars. I didn't mention how great the Eufy support is. They are among the best when it comes to customer care and satisfaction. I received an email from Eufy asking about my issues. I explained my expectations (which were probably higher than they should have been). Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. I have a Eufy 15C Max. I was happy to get the G30Edge for both navigation (less random patterns) and magstripes. First they removed many features. There is no remote control. This comes in handy when you just want to do a quick/spot clean. You can point the vacuum cleaner at the spot and start cleaning. Since there is no remote control, you have to use the directional button with the Eufy app. This also works differently. When changing direction, the device stops, rotates and stops again. You have to start it with the forward arrow. This makes manually navigating this vacuum very tedious. With the 15C Max the vacuum cleaner keeps moving and you simply point it where you want it, just like a remote control car. There is no reverse direction on the controls on the G30 Edge. Second, there is only one side brush. Not sure if it matters yet, but having two side brushes allows you to clean the edges in either direction. Thirdly, a maximum of 15°C was able to cross the threshold of my bathroom. G30 Edge - no. I have to pick it up and put it in the bathroom to clean it. It could break the deal. After I set up my vacuum and the house is robovac ready, I want to use the schedule and know that ALL the floor is vacuumed. It would also be nice if you could orient the map to match the floor plan. .I'm not sure if these shortcomings can be fixed with a firmware update, but it takes a lot of work. Advantages: Very quiet back and forth cleaning cycle; no random wandering around, seems to clean well Cons: no remote control, doesn't get past higher thresholds than other vacuums, only 1 side brush, manual navigation is terrible, no HEPA filter, docking station hard to find. show only the current cleaning schedule. Separate rooms cannot be saved. Hope that helps.
