I think we should start with the packaging and parts. Nice packaging and no missing parts! The radio installation instructions are a bit rough, but typical of Chinese instructions. I've seen a lot worse, so it is. I installed this in my trusty old Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ that had a factory Infinity stereo that was upgraded to a Kenwood a few years ago. I bought a rear view camera and USB port to replace one of my 12V cigarette lighter sockets on the console to give me 2 usable USB ports, one for Apple Car Play and the other for my USB stick full of music in MP3 format. They work GREAT! DEAR APPLE CAR PLAY, WORKS GREAT WITH MY NEW IPHONE SE WITH LATEST IOS. Also, I have (SWC) steering wheel controls on my radio jeep and I was able to connect these controls to the new radio WITHOUT buying anything. like Metra SWC box or similar. The steering wheel controls are so good I could have them back with the radio, that I could never get my old Kenwood radio to work with it. The device has built-in GPS, so it has a GPS antenna that you need to run and mount. I had a lot of wire to reach the right hand corner of the windshield to mount the antenna, it works great. It also included a microphone with a very long cord so you can use voice control or make calls. Everything works as advertised. It includes Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and both work flawlessly. I love the setup you get out of the box. The radio includes car logos for your home screen. So when you power on after a cold boot, you'll see your car's factory logo scroll up the screen as it boots up. The radio also comes with many background images to choose from, or you can upload your own backgrounds. The radio has a subwoofer output although I don't have one but I'm sure it will work fine. My only issue with the radio is that I have a true 4 channel amp under my back seat and accepts RCA plugs from the radio and this radio only has LEFT and RIGHT RCA AMP OUT plugs. NO FRONT/REAR/L/R. If you connect directly to the speakers and not to an external amplifier, you will have separate front/rear left and right speaker wires from the radio. I decided to connect the left and right RCA jacks of the radio to my amplifier using a splitter, to send the left signal to both the front and rear channels of the amplifier, as well as the right channel. It works well but I can't control the front/back balance. ANOTHER PROBLEM I ran into has more to do with an Android issue than this particular radio. to get started and usable. This radio has a sleep setting that allows you to sleep up to 2 hours. This means as soon as you start the radio from a cold start and turn the car off and then on again, the radio will start up again almost immediately. However, this only takes a maximum of 2 hours, more and you have to wait 30 seconds for the radio to boot up. I know there are other Android radios that will sleep days rather than hours rather than shutting down. I'm sure this can be fixed with either an Android 10 system update or an app that controls the time in the built-in settings. The camera will work BEFORE the radio completes booting from a cold boot. So that, if you're in a hurry and need to back up before the radio has finished downloading, the screen will switch to the camera when you put it in reverse. So that's a nice touch and takes the sting out of the limited 2 hours. Immediate start window. All in all, hard to beat for the money. I have a Factory 10 Bose column from my wife.
