Review on 🚗 Fram Extra Guard CH8712 Cartridge Oil Filter - 10,000 Mile Change Interval by Ron Josey

Bought these for an oil change in a 2003 Volvo S40 in recent years. It's a reasonable price and it gets the job done. The package contains 2 parts: a filter that fits into the plastic housing/oil filter cup in the engine and a rubber gasket to replace the seal on the oil filter cup. It is also recommended to replace the metal washer on the oil drain plug when using an impact wrench or over tightening the bolt as it will warp and wear out.
