This little kit was just what I was looking for to provide light, power for my phone and radio news and weather when the power goes out! It has FOUR power options: AC power, AA batteries, solar power, and hand crank. It has a 5V output plug, so you can charge your phone or other electronic devices with this power via a USB cable. The plug has a rubber/silicone material cap to keep water out and all other places where water can get in are sealed making it waterproof/durable. Features a bright light, a bottle opener, and a clip on one corner that lets you clip it to your belt or backpack for hands-free use in an emergency. There is also FM and weather radio! Automatic weather alerts can be activated to keep you informed in extreme weather conditions. I've tried FM reception many times with the outside antennas not extended and was able to pick up almost 30 stations, more than 50 indoors, no less! Great compact power and information kit for a backpacking bag or everyday use!
