This is a very dangerous product - it caught fire, it's completely covered in plastic! The hard coating is NOT ceramic or safe plastic like other cookware. I had melted one of these on the burner - ruined the burner should have been a warning! I threw this one away, bought a new burner and bought this new one because I love the design. On the second use it caught fire, the flames rising 4 feet into the air. I was lucky the house didn't burn down. The fire has spread to the oven wiring and now I have to change my stove/oven! The whistle on it didn't work even when the water was boiling.
