Review on CDI 1002MFRMH 8 Inch Handle 100 Ft Lbs by Jim Bethea

This torque wrench is required for light and medium truck bolts and RV wheels. It's easy to tune this wrench to a specific torque. Very accurate compared to my newly calibrated torque wrench with dial indicator. The tool is long enough to give good mechanical advantage in the upper torque range. Well-polished surfaces make it easy to wipe clean before putting it back in the black plastic case. The finely ribbed grip surface is very comfortable for the hands. Well made quality tool. The only downside is that the dial is very light on the polished chrome finish, making reading the dial settings a bit difficult (especially in bright sunlight). For the price, this is a much better snap-action torque wrench than most Chinese torque wrenches. Note: Remember to reduce the torque setting to 30 ft/lbs before storing to relieve internal spring stress.
