CDI 1002MFRMH 8 Inch Handle 100 Ft Lbs Review

I bought Revain 1/2" and 3/8" CDI torque wrenches two weeks ago. I've since had the opportunity to use both when changing CV axes on my machine. They have exceeded my expectations: they are easy to set up and the "torque click" is pronounced. Just as importantly, a pair costs less than half the price of a single SnapOn 1/2-inch (digital) torque wrench. My only (minor) complaint is the reverse switch/lever on the smaller tool. No Click at lower torque settings. I adjusted it to 10 Nm (7 ft*lbs) and it didn't click at all. As a result, I have now broken a bolt in the automatic transmission and maybe another will break when I try to unscrew it. I can only assume that the key was defective and that it is not designed that way. At higher torque settings it really clicks. Now I have to spend $100 to fix this mess (hope this can be fixed). This is an amazing torque wrench that beats Chinese at half the price. Mechanical work is precise and pleasant. I like that there isn't much play in operation - this allows you to progress in tight spots where a torque wrench is less accurate. The length is good and makes it much easier to get the leverage needed for high torque applications. This torque wrench is required for light and medium truck bolts and RV wheels. It's easy to tune this wrench to a specific torque.
