Not suitable for drinking water/fridge line
I bought this to put a shut off valve on the second line of the fridge. This product is not NSF/ANSI certified. This does not mean that it is high in lead, just that it is not certified because it is intended for non-potable water, industrial and other uses. KMBVM-2B is a chrome plated brass mini ball valve. There is a small amount of lead in the brass and the product comes with a California Prop 65 label. Also, the diameter listed is a 1/4" female, not a male thread, so it doesn't fit my 1/4". " Fridge. line anyway.
