Review on πŸ› οΈ TEMO Rotary Hanger: The Ultimate Dremel Foreman Accessory by Rickey Ortega

fail. Go on. Nothing to see (buy) here.

Phew! I bought this "tool" about a week after the tool that came with my other manufacturer's rotary tool stopped working. I thought it wouldn't be too expensive so I'll keep the rotor but this replacement is no good! Being new to using rotary tools at the time, I didn't know the do's and don'ts. So when I attached the flexible shaft to my rotary tool, I didn't think too much about the fact that the silver cup wasn't quite secure. like it was tight, but then when I applied some extra pressure, which is needed for a secure fit, it started twisting again to try to loosen. So I checked I had it flush and long story short it was the only way so I moved it to what I assumed was the locked position and started working. Within about an hour the entire shaft flew out of the rotary tool leaving marks on my rotary tool and project all the while doubting I had cut myself! So no, I'm not happy with this "tool". Update: I've used so many rotary tools and flex shafts that aren't on the market that I ended up getting frustrated and bought the real ones: Dremel 4300 and Dremel Flex Shaft. I feel so stupid for not gritting my teeth to begin with. There's a reason everyone just says "Dremel" instead of "rotary tool". And that's because only Dremel can be called that. If I've accomplished anything with this review, I hope I've saved some of you a lot of time, money, and frustration.

Pros
  • Super handy rotary tool - keeps tool handy and out of the way; required for use with flexible shaft
Cons
  • High Price
