Knobs rotate in one direction. According to item description CW/CCW. No matter how I tried to adjust, I couldn't get a knob to turn in the direction I wanted. They were easy to assemble and looked good. I will continue to investigate how to fix the problem. That's why I rated it a 4. updates. I was able to install handles so they could be used. I had to install a handle to open in a horizontal position instead of the normal vertical position. Not perfect, but it works.
